What does your home need?

Start with the outcome—not a product pitch.

Choose the part of your exterior you want to improve. We will look at how it connects to everything around it.

The work you do not see matters most

Your exterior is a water-management system.

A good-looking finish is only the outer layer. Long service life comes from the preparation beneath it and the places where materials meet.

  • Openings: sill pans, flashing, sealants, trim, and drainage paths.
  • Walls: weather barriers, rainscreens, clearances, and drying potential.
  • Roofs: deck condition, underlayment, ventilation, edges, and penetrations.
  • Decks: footings, framing, ledgers, load paths, flashing, and drainage.

A clear fit saves everyone time

We are built for lasting exterior projects.

Armor Exteriors works best with homeowners who want the scope explained, the underlying conditions addressed, and the installation done for the long haul.

Likely a strong fit

You want a durable plan.

  • You own the home and expect to keep improving it.
  • You value a defined scope over the lowest initial bid.
  • You want damage documented and corrected—not covered up.
  • You can plan around permits, materials, weather, and realistic scheduling.

Probably not the right call

You need a quick patch or unrelated trade.

  • Same-day tarping or 24-hour emergency leak response.
  • A handyman punch list, painting-only work, or interior remodeling.
  • A cosmetic cover-up over known rot, drainage, or flashing problems.
  • An asphalt-shingle reroof rather than a metal-roof system.
Rochester-centered service area.

We serve selected projects in Rochester, Grand Mound, Olympia, Tumwater, Centralia, Chehalis, and nearby communities. Fit depends on the service, location, scope, and current schedule.

Homeowner perspective

Quality is remembered in the details.

The goal is not simply a finished project. It is a home that looks resolved, sheds water correctly, and gives you confidence in what is underneath.

Straight answers

A few things worth knowing first.

Do you take small exterior repairs?

Sometimes. Smaller repairs make the most sense when they are close to Rochester, connect to a larger exterior system, or involve a diagnosable flashing, rot, or water-management problem we can correct responsibly.

What happens if removal uncovers rot or concealed damage?

We document what is found, explain why it matters, and define the corrective work before covering it back up. Concealed conditions are handled openly—not buried inside vague scope.

Do you install asphalt-shingle roofs?

Our roofing focus is metal, especially concealed-fastener standing seam. If your goal is an asphalt-shingle reroof, another roofing contractor will usually be a better fit.

Was Armor Exteriors formerly Black River Builders?

Yes. The name changed to reflect a clearer focus on exterior remodeling. The ownership, crew, and standards stayed the same.
